Bosses, take note: Your staff wants a bonus this holiday season
Fri Nov 30, 2012
A cash bonus used to be nice, but thanks to the current Idiot Administration and their IRreSponsible, it's a pain for employers to cut a check to the employee, and issue it for face value.
Red Cross pushes back on Sandy response, calls it 'near flawless'
Sun Nov 11, 2012
What I find amazing / disgusting about this is, not one word about the incompetency of FEMA and / or the Obama administration's response to this disaster.
Summer internship horror stories and how to avoid them
Sun Jul 8, 2012
With the skyrocketing cost of a college education these days, can't help but wonder how much course-study time the colleges & universities put into some of the fundamental aspects of various carees - HOW TO ACT LIKE PROFESSIONALS? I guess the "advanced-education" institutions figure that such b …
Obama urges Congress to act on boosting public sector jobs
Fri Jun 8, 2012
I hope the failed recall attempt in Wisconsin on Tuesday sent some clear messages: 1) Most of us do not work for the public sector; 2) Most of us do not belong to labor unions, and 3) Most of us who are working and paying the bills for the Country don't like seeing our tax money squandered.
Violent holiday weekend claims at least 10 lives in Chicago
Tue May 29, 2012
Say it isn't so!! You mean that Obama's former right-hand man has been at the helm in Chi-town for a year now and gun violence has increased nearly 50%? Why am I not surprised!! Maybe Rahma Obama needs to consult his neighboring Mayor to the north, Tom Barrett and get some advice on cooking the bo …

Fri Feb 10, 2012
Don't blame him a bit for trashing the laptop, but seems a bit of a waste of otherwise good electronics.
Iconic skier's death points out U.S. health gap
Mon Jan 30, 2012
OK - so we don't live in "Utopia" - so what? I agree there's always room to improve our social environment, but as far as I'm concerned, we live in the best country on earth.
Unlike competition, U.S. values profits over jobs
Thu Mar 31, 2011
There are jobs out there for people who are willing to "work". I am in mining, and find it difficult to find people who have the dedication and discipline to come to work every day, be on time, and work a little OT when necessary.
Vote: Where do you stand on Wis. impasse?
Thu Feb 24, 2011
I agree with FDR. If you are going to be in Public Service, then serve the public - not yourself or the Union bosses. Collective bargaining was never meant in public service jobs. That's why the Military is not unionized. The taxpay is "the man".
NBC/WSJ poll: 62% against stripping public employees' bargaining rights
Wed Mar 2, 2011
Not surprised that NBC /WSJ poll would come up with that. Now ask the rest of the US what we think, and the numbers will go the other way. What does the FOX poll show? Go Gov Walker, GO!!
